During his career, the novelist, short story writer and playwright William J. Locke had nearly half a dozen novels listed on the “New York Times” bestseller list. Several of his books were also adapted to the Broadway stage while two dozen were made into films.
In this Locke story, three very successful professional, yet curmudgeonly, men meet out of the blue in front of the newsstand at a central London rail station. The men learn they are all travelling on the train to Cornwall, a county in southwestern England.
Why are they all going to the same destination for Christmas? And how will that train ride change their perspectives about life?

This was a short, quick read, but well worth the time.
I love short stories and this one did not disappoint. Very fun and easy to read.
