DESCRIPTION
The most well known political group of the French Revolution was the Jacobin Club. Jacobins controlled the Revolutionary government in France in part of 1793 and 1794; they became synonymous with violence in their quest for utmost egalitarianism via the Reign of Terror.

This essay describes the Jacobin behavior as they ransacked tombs looking for jewels, gold, silver, bronze, or lead.
