I should mention that some of these chapters of my life, as well as being a document of the past year of my life, they are also an expression of my aspirations for the coming year of my life. "H World Conquest" captures one evening of my life, an opening night of one of my first major art exhibits. I spent about an year working on 22 paintings for this show, and drew a lot of my inspiration from a period in my life when I was 18 and when I had first moved out on my own and had to make decisions on my own, for the first time. Around the age of 18, I also painted a lot of dark subjects, and I revisited those subjects, with a new flare and at a new skill level.
My aim for this exhibit was to launch me into being more adventurous and expanding my horizons, to reach new cities and venues to showcase my artwork and my vision!
