DESCRIPTION
Emily Dickinson has become one of America's most celebrated poets. More famous during her lifetime as a recluse than a poet, Dickinson's sheltered life nonetheless produced a rich body of passionate and introspective poetical works focused on themes of love and nature, as well as death. In all, she produced more than 800 poems, though only a handful were published during her lifetime by the few patrons allowed to view them.
WOWIO Classics presents the original three series, as first published between 1890 and 1896, with poems selected and edited by her close friends, Mabel Loomis Todd and T. W. Higginson. Biographical information, a list of resources, an article from the "Cambrige History of English and American Literature", and reproductions of Dickinson's original writings are also included in the volumes of this series.
