Meet Charlie, a foul mouthed twelve-year-old who would rather play video games than do her homework. She attends a high class school, loves skateboarding, and bullies her best friend into wreaking havoc on authority figures. Oh and one more thing. She’s dead!
In the afterlife, Charlie has been placed into the “Grim Reaper School”, the place where the souls of children go if they have unfinished business left behind. Unfortunately for Charlie, before the judges could even decide what to do with her, a weapon of mass destruction places itself in her hands, and she is assigned the task of babysitting the school’s hyper and psychotic headmaster (who forgot to lock the stupid thing up in the first place!). This kid is convinced she’s been cheated, but she’ll soon learn that there’s more to being a Reaper than wearing a black cloak and waving a scythe around.
In this issue: Charlie embarks on a whirlwind adventure...to do her homework! When she is presented with a poltergeist that is more than confrontational, her teachers question the source of her difficult assignment and the source of her unusual power. But Charlie is far from giving up, even if she has to drag her best friend along to help.
