DESCRIPTION
A moody color-changing rhino? A plaid zebra? A monkey who thinks he's turning into a banana? This is the story of three very special friends.
Everyone knows that monkeys love bananas. But one little brown monkey named Banana-Tail loved them a little too much. He spent all his days thinking of different ways to enjoy eating them. Diced bananas, sliced bananas, mushed bananas, baked bananas, banana shakes, and so on and so on. Banana-Tail's mother always told him that he ate so many bananas, one day he was going to turn into one. And so begins our tail, er, tale.
Publisher/Creator Mark McKenna is an established comic book illustrator. Having co-illustrated comics for more then 17 years for both Marvel and DC Comics. He's worked on every well known comic book icon, from Marvel's X-Men, Spider Man, The Hulk and Wolverine, to DC's Wonder Woman and most recently Batman. Nearly 300 books in all.
In 1995, Mark had a meeting of the minds with his father John. Mark saw his father, as a great idea man with a great imagination and many untapped ideas and together devised a plan to create Banana-Tail.
In October of 2002, only months after the passing of his father John, Mark ventured into the world of self-publishing with the birth of Banana-Tail. Originally the plan was to diversify from Mark's career from being a comic book professional and offer him leverage with two career opportunities.
Put the world of Spider Man, Batman, and Wolverine together with the personalities of Banana-Tail, Tic Tac and Reena, and children will fall in love with Banana-Tail!
