Flare First Edition was a black-and-white title that for the most part reprinted early stories featuring Flare. There were, however, a few new stories. Most of the stories in FFE are available elsewhere. And in this electronic edition, where color versions of stories exist they have been provided in place of the b&w versions. This issue of FFE features "Revenge" from Flare #2, the new Icicle story "Confrontation with the Huntsman" (which will be reprinted in Champions #41), "Into the Viper's Nest" from Flare #7 (v2 #4), and "Malice" from Champions #10 (v2 #4).
