Rain Star Wind tells the story of a small native american family unit (Mother, daughter and son) cast out from their native tribe, thier husband and father dead, and thrust out into the wild unknowns of the North American continent intent on continuing their lives the best way they know how.
In this first issue we deal with the introductions of Rain, Star and Wind, their way of life, and the introduction of a wandering savage into this small fragile family unit. The presence of this male savage threatens to undermine all that this small family has struggled so hard for.
