1 reader found this helpful (1 rating)Nicely done, with a cinematic narrative flow, smart and engaging characters, and dialogue with a texture that’s more like buttered popcorn than cardboard (that’s a good thing). The Uniques’ universe is established with a sense of place and history in just a few pages, and, to top it off, the art is nicely rendered with handsome compositions and a sweetspot-balance of clarity and depth. Well done — I’m looking forward to the rest of the series!
