This is a brilliant read - not only is it a famous mystery/detective/crime/ horror story with one of the most popular fictional characters ever (Sherlock Holmes), but also an example of Doyle's brilliantly atmospheric writing which transports you to the scene of the action. You become immersed in the story and feel you are on Dartmoor, in the swirling fog, back in the Victorian ere. One of my favourite books.
