This book is great for the broad scope of costume designer profiles and quotes but lacks for the presentation of the images both sketches and costumes.

DRESSED: A Century of Costume Design by the same author is by far the superior book, larger format and both the costumes and sketches are given full page presentations. The sketches shown of costume designs or working drawings are few, the few that are shown are better seen in 'DRESSED'.
