Not worth buying for money. Not worth reading unless you have nothing else to read. I downloaded this for free during the time here that Wowio had sponsored books, and I feel that even that was a waste...of my time at least. I would never pay the listed price of $5.99, even for a physical print version. The characters are all one-dimensional, to the point where you could easily exchange any character in these stories for any other character and it wouldn't make a difference. Maybe this wasn't the place for background, but there is no development whatsoever about these characters. The stories are flat, some demon out of nowhere gets beaten way too easily each and every time. The art is juvenile—there are some good qualities but it is not refined at all, with stilted motions and human anatomy ignorance. They simply can't ”create” half-clothed characters and just throw them together as they go and think that we readers are going to settle for it. Do not buy this comic. Go read something good...and that is just about anything else.

Cliche-ridden. Absolutely horrible art. However, I was reading this, and going at a nice pace. I was at least interested in how the story was progressing. But then the issue ended. This comic book should not have been split up in any fashion. I think splitting it up hurts the pacing and the fact that I will probably not be diving into the next issues. One good note, the author wrote a forward, a sort of descriptive compare-contrast essay of city versus country that was really good, almost poetic. I almost think he should have written this is prose instead of comic book because the drawings do not help him. He is an author that can paint a better picture with words than the illustrator can draw.

First of all, I couldn't see ANYTHING with this download. The PDF was horrible. Whole pages were black, basically, as I could discern no images. Secondly, it is just not interesting. Again, no story here to land any kind of hook. When will they start developing a story that hooks a reader? This is boring, boring, boring.

I was extremely disappointed. I could barely follow the story. It feels like you are reading part 3 of a six parter without ever having read the other issues. I wanted to like this, as I love noir and pulp, but I found this completely unengaging. And the art is that horrible stuff that doesn't look like real people.

What a great new concept. Fantastic new idea of vampires protecting humans from zombies so the vampires can keep their ”meals.” It's a heck of a lot like WALKING DEAD. Great stuff.
