A review of Brian & Bobbi
I was in a rut… I couldn’t find one single comic book worth reading. I tried going back to old x-men comics… Just couldn’t get into it. Then the GREATEST thing in the world happened… I got this little treasure in the mail. Brian & Bobbi, is a very well written and interesting comic. I wish more comics could capture me the way that this one did. I have very few complaints when it comes to this comic… 1) I wish there was a follow up already… 2) I need more… 3) I wish I could just read the next Brian & Bobbi, already… In all seriousness, my only complaints are that I felt more could have taken place in this comic. The climax was there on a dramatic level, which made this a story that is definitely worth reading. My personal preference is a story that has subplots and all kinds of things going on surrounding the main story. This was a straight up approach that laid the story right in your face. I enjoyed reading this comic even more so than Batman: RIP… The artwork is very well done and the story definitely is well written. 215 Ink has found a gem in Adam Wilson. My main complaint is that I really do want to see more story. So help make that happen by Ordering Brian & Bobbi at your local comic book shop!

A review of Little Heroes Volume 01
Have you ever sat down and just wanted to watch one a Disney movie? Little Heroes, in my opinion, is the Disney Movie of comics. In a lot of ways it reminds me of Wall-E because there is no lettering work. Through out both stories in this comic, we see a bunch of actions. What I found interesting was that my eyes weren't going to text bubbles anymore, my eyes were heading straight to the artwork. This comic is a pretty solid read for all ages. I recommend it to a little one, who is just starting to read comics, because it helps them focus more on the uniqueness of the art form, rather than just the text.
A review of BUCK 01
Have you ever sat down on a week night, and nothing was on t.v., and you found yourself watching the SYFY channel? Now the movies on the SYFY channel may be ridiculously cool but they also generally have pretty decent story lines. Reading Stephen Lindsay’s Buck, was like flipping on the t.v. when there was nothing on but a SYFY movie. The funny thing about it… I can’t get enough of it! The title is impressive to say the least. From the dialogue, to the B- art work, this title screams SYFY and it also screams… AWESOMENESS… TO THE MAXXXX!!!! Now I am waiting for some kind of love making scene, where both lovers are mutualized by the creature in the woods. Honest to goodness… CHECK THIS TITLE OUT! Believe me when I say that there is nothing quite like it
A review of Breakneck 01
I love days like these… Days that I can sit down and read some new titles to review. The best days aren’t just about reading comics but reading great comics! The writing behind Breakneck, is very, very, well done! The concept alone has me wanting more, I mean really wanting more! Telling the story from the villains perspective is just awesome. The art work is very strange, yet suiting and very non-traditional. I love how we are thrown into the middle of the story and the writing just picks up from there, no real background story, just information we need. I also love that we do not see how Ethan Shade gets his powers. Hopefully its not some cooky mad experiment… yet again… It will be interesting to see this story unfold in the next issues. I have been off the superhero genre for a while now and this was just the comic I needed to get out of that funk! It is also no surprise that it is a 215 Ink title that took me out of said funk. I can’t say enough good things about them and the creators that they represent. Breakneck is just another reason why 215 Ink is my favorite Independent Comic Book Company.
Breakneck is a must read for all of you superhero genre comic book fans!
A review of Massive Awesome 01
Do I love pickles on my sandwich? Of course! Do I love a pickle that thinks he is a zombie in my comics? Uh Duh! Massive Awesome is another masterpiece by Stephen Lindsay, that deserves a animated movie made about it! I seriously could not get enough of this book, it appealed to every level of the senses like a food network show. Yes, I did in fact have a hunger craving after I read this book. In fact I ate a BLT with some pickle slices just because of this comic… Ahhhh yeah… It was good! Anyways… Massive Awesome is “The Jesus Hates Zombies” for food lovers! It also reminds me of TMNT in a way, but this is way cooler! Believe me, check this comic out! It doesn’t matter if you read it digitally or physically, just get it!
