I got this for my daughter because I was intrigued with the premise - it brought back a lot of childhood camping memories for me. It turned out to be great instinct. She got caught up in the intrigue right away and didn't want to put it down. It's wonderful to find a book that offers a learning opportunity disguised in artful story telling. Definitely recommend it for your young reader!
