You know, I feel sorry for the people who have nothing better to do then to pick a book apart. They hunt for any and all errors. Me, I read a book because I like to read for the enjoyment. Now, not all books are a joy to read but, this book, ”The Submarine Effect” is a joy. I find nothing in it that reads like ”On The Beach.” In fact, it does not even come close. This book stands alone and has a good story line of before, during, and after, ”The Big One.” I will not tell you the story because I think everyone should read this book. What errors I did see belongs to the publisher and not Mr. Fitts. Mr. Fitts, I think you wrote a very good peice here and hope you will continue to write more like it. THANKS

This is one of the best books I have read. I would rate this on a level with Clarke, Hainlein, Asomov, to name a few. Please keep up the good work.
